Tim's Scoliosis Surgery

Tim has been diagnosed with thoracic scoliosis, which is an abnormal bending of his spine in his chest area. We have known about this for a while, but we didn't know how bad it really was until we saw his scoliosis surgeon. At this point we were told it will continue to progress without immediate surgery.
His surgery is scheduled for January 2017 with an estimated cost of over $300,000. This does not include procedures and tests he must have before the surgery, such as:
- dermatologic treatments for his back
- MRI to check for abnormal spinal cord or fluid
- pre-surgical pediatric exams and blood tests
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover as much as we can, plus Diane's time off from work to care for him.
The money will be used for Tim's expenses, and any remaining will be donated to Nemours where the surgery will take place to help others with even worse conditions.
We can not adequately express our thanks for your generosity and willingness to help, and we promise a prayer of thanks for each donation no matter the size!
