On April 2nd, Tim was admitted into the hospital with acute kidney failure, operating at only 9% - a direct result of his battle with diabetes and high blood pressure. He spent 6 days in ICU, and we almost lost him. After spending a total of 11 days fighting for his life, he has improved enough to be able to return home.
We now face so many unknowns... including how often/long he will require dialysis, potential kidney transplant, whether he will be able to work again, and what his physical capabilities will be.
As Tim is focusing on healing, and I am focusing on assisting him to do so I am unable to work full time so we worry about how we will be able to cover our expenses; including the medical bills, transportation costs, special dietary needs, and even basic living expenses.
So many of our friends have asked how they might help us best, so that is why we've set-up this gofundme. We greatly appreciate your love and support during this challenging time.
