Tim Carr's Hernia Surgery

This is Tim Carr. Tim is a military veteran, an incredibly loving father, a gifted and honest mechanic, and a true friend. He has and continues to impact the lives of everyone he meets, whether it be through service or friendship.
Recently, Tim informed my coworker and I that he has a hernia and needs surgery. Upon asking him why he had not yet gotten this rather common surgery, we were shocked and upset to hear that his veteran's insurance has him on a 7 MONTH waiting list for the operation.
That's 7 months of pain and discomfort, 7 months of affecting his ability to work, and 7 months for a relatively harmless condition to become a life threatening illness.
If Tim wants to be healthy now, instead of 7 months from now, it would cost $6,500. And thats just for the operation. All other hospital expenses included, we're estimating $10,000 for Tim to get the surgery he needs.
If any one of us had the money, it would go straight to Tim's surgery. Unfortunately, $10,000 is an unattainable amount of money for Tim, and for us.
Currently, Tim's only choice is to wait, and hope for the best.
Tim lives his whole life to help others in whatever way he can, and now, it's our time to help him. We're trying to hit our goal as fast as possible so that Tim gets the relief he deserves. Anything that you can donate to help Tim will mean the world to the people that love who he is and what he's done.
