Please help raise funds for a family that has lost their son, brother, and uncle. Tim Adams lost his life to undiagnosed/untreated depression on October 13th, 2019, in Anchorage, Alaska.
A lot of Tim’s friends and extended family have reached out inquiring how they can help during this difficult time. Due to Tim’s unexpected death, the immediate need is to plan for funeral expenses.
Stephen Rosa said it best, “Tim was a shirt off your back kind of guy, and sometimes pants and underwear too!” Tim’s nephew Terren recalls when Tim did just that. ‘An ice cream truck guy saw Uncle Tim’s KOTZ Radio sweatshirt and said he hadn’t seen anything from home in a long time and Tim gave the guy his sweatshirt for a couple choco tacos’.
Tim’s most recent contribution to his Rural Alaskan Family was to help design and create Class A fire kuspuks for Fire Chief’s throughout the state.
Tim’s sister, Lisa Shield is the beneficiary of this fundraiser, and will use all funds to pay for traditional preparation, service and burial for Tim. In honor of his last act of selflessness, any funds in excess of funeral expenses will be donated to the Alaska Fire Fighter Peer Support.
