MoCo Coffee Truck

The MoCo Coffee Truck by Tiger Mochas is a means for the founders to connect the potential of individuals with disabilties to their purpose! Currently,  the coffee shop is a school-based enterprise at Auburn High School ran by students with moderate disabilities and peer assisted classmates, known as Tiger Mochas!
After receiving funding from the FACES foundation , a local enrichment grant program, Tiger Mochas opened to sell coffee to faculty and students in the Spring of 2017! To date, Tiger Mochas has sold more than 1,200 cups while only being open for 30 minutes one day a week over only five months!

Special education students, parents, and Auburn,  AL community members have a vision for Tiger Mochas that is larger than a school-based enterprise and goes beyond the classroom. Pouring Hope was born! The vision for our employess is for them to contribute to society in a meaningful way, while increasing their own quality of life and independence!
(magic ingredients- Connecting individuals potential to their purpose)

MoCo Coffee Truck by Tiger Mochas has the magic ingredient of great coffee brewed and served by exceptional individuals who desire a purpose in their community. This vision will be brought to fruition by three special education teachers who recognize the need for sustainable employment for individuals with disabilities after they graduate from high school.

(The day the 3 special education teachers developed the business plan for Pouring Hope Coffee Shop on Wheels!)

Therefore, with your help, Tiger Mochas will transition from the classroom to a specialty coffee shop "on wheels," MoCo!  In order to see this dream become a reality, we are seeking financial support from you! Pouring Hope on Wheels is in need of a food truck equipped to store, prepare, and serve coffee! Our goal is to be up and running by February of 2018!

Once the business is established, our five year plan includes; remaining debt free, giving back 10% of our profits to local organizations that create a community for individuals with disabilities, and paying our employees who have disabilities at least $12 an hour. The funds raised from this campaign will see to it that the largest expense of this venture, a food truck and coffee equipment, is funded so that this business can begin in our community. Your contribution will directly impact and facilitate a dream for so many people with disabilties in our community. Help us connect people's potential to their purpose in a nurturing, uplifiting environment! Help us pour hope, one cup of coffee at a time!

We appreciate your support, prayers, and encouragement as we embark on this journey together with our awesome students and community members!
