Tiffany's Stage IV Cancer Treatment

On the 27th of Febuary, 2015, my beautiful wife, Tiffany Karesa (30), of 9 years was diagnosed with multi focal stage 3 invasive lobular carcinoma (breast cancer).
We immediately met with a panel of doctors who suggested an immediate mastectomy followed by radiation, hormone therapy and likely chemotherapy. Not so coincidentaly Tiffany had been studying naturapathic and alternative medicine for the previous year and immediately felt very strongly about taking a natural aproach to healing.
After a lot of research and discussion with prayer and consideration we choose to follow a 100% natural therapy to treat Tiffanys cancer. This includes extensive juicing and detoxing along with a strict raw organic vegan diet and specific suplements and herbs which assist in the natural healing process. While she is following her own unique path and treatment plan, what she is doing is a modified version of what is known as Gerson therapy; a therapy developed in the fiftys for natural healing which has been used by thousands to recover from many different types of diseases, including cancer. www.gerson.org
In the 4 months since starting the therapy we have had many encouraging results, not the least of which is a slow but steady reduction in the size of the roughly 8 cm sized cluster of tumors. As I am sure you can imagine, this is a long and disciplined road which requires courage, faith and determination to finally meet our goal. Tiffany how so much more strength than I ever imagined and is doing so wonderfully in her therapy. She never complains and deals with the setbacks and pain in her quiet calm way.
She often has extreme nausea and experiences burning pain which make it very difficult to function throughout the day. We have 3 wonderful childen, Tristan 8, Ariana 5 and Titus 3 whom whe homeschools as well as the thousand other things she does as a stay at home mother.
We estimate that the total treatment will take roughly 2 years before we can expect there to be full remission of the cancer and we are confident that we are on our way.
At the begining we were blessed to be able to have all her initial testing and medical bills covered 100% but as the months have progressed we are now on a different insurance and are planning to start seeing a naturapathic oncologist in Seattle next week, the 10th of July. Along with the medical, supplement and detox herb bills we juice roughly ten pounds of organic veggies a day.
We could never have expected such a life altering event to occur, especially so young in life, yet as believers in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we are fully confident that this path we walk has been ordained by His eternal hand. We have felt such peace through this time and know that the path we walk is what He wants for us. The Lord has been so good to us in our lives and this in no way changes that, "For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:5 ".
We have such a wonderful family and there have been so many who have shown their love and support through this time. We belong to such an amazing family in Christ and the fellowship we share in His name is so sweet and meaningful, especially when we walk through the valleys. It is odd to say but we feel that these past months have been the most blessed of our marriage. We are closer to each other, closer to our family and most importantly, have been drawn closer to our Savior.
Although this site is aimed to raise money for Tiffanys continued care over the next 18 - 24 months, it is your love, prayers and affection which we so earnestly covet. What we ask is that you would pray that the Lords will be done and that our lives would honor Him in all that we do and experience. No matter the end we trust that the Lord's plan is good - "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Genesis 18:25b".
