Tiffanie and Rhea's Family

Donation protected
On Aug. 30, 2017, gorgeous baby Rhea (center) was born, several weeks early, to beautiful Tiffanie (right). On that same day, Tiffanie was diagnosed with cancer. Further testing later showed that Tiffanie had an extremely rare and aggressive type of ovarian cancer (SCCOHT).

Tiffanie's treatment regimen was very demanding. Tiffanie's mother, Lola (left) quit her full-time job to provide support for Tiffanie and the baby. Eventually, Lola obtained temporary custody of Rhea. Over 12 months, Tiffanie underwent chemotherapy, radiation, stem cell replacement, and immunotherapy. But, tragically, On Oct. 24, 2018, Tiffanie lost the fight, surrounded by friends and family at her home in La Grange, Kentucky.

Rhea never got the chance to know her mother.

Donations will be used to offset Lola's lost wages, pay for Rhea's necessities, and cover any legal fees necessary for Lola to retain custody of Rhea and, if feasible, adopt her. Surplus funds, if any, will be placed in a trust fund for Rhea.
