Tibetan Women's Team Denied Visas to the US 


We at LFCNY feel strongly that diversity of thought, opinion and origin greatly enriches us all.  As a supporters club in a city where many different cultures have combined to form a vibrant and challenging (in a good way) environment, we feel that we are compelled to stand up for all.

As some of you might know, we are all fairly horrified by the scapegoating of immigrants and visitors being treated as enemies and threats. 

As shown in the link anove, a team of Tibetan women were denied entry to the US to play in a soccer tournament.  This to us isn't right.  We'd like to help them recoup their costs and ask that if you can, please make a donation to help them.  We can't get them into the country, but, we can still help show them that there are people in this country that feel that sport unites us.
