Thousand Mile March

Every few weeks or months we hear another story about students and parents, concert goers, or church members whose lives are turned upside down by another mass shooting. For too long we've tolerated inaction, assuming nothing can be done. This time, thanks to the bold leadership of the students of Parkland, Florida, we have a chance to stand together and say #NeverAgain. On March 24th, students around the country will take to the streets to demand action in this March For Our Lives . 

To stand with those who are marching in Washington, DC and elsewhere on March 24th, I am committing to ride my bicycle for a total of one thousand miles in the month of March. For each mile ridden, I intend to raise $1 to support the March for Our Lives. To help support this next generation of leaders, please consider sponsoring my rides with a penny, nickel, dime, or quarter per mile. You can track my rides and miles on Strava here. 

All donations prior to March 24th will be immediately sent to March For Our Lives. Donations at the close of the campaign (for those who don't trust my miles...) will be immediately sent to the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation or the Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund. Thank you for your support.
