Ventura County - Thomas Fire

On Monday, 12/4 at 6:20pm, a fire erupted in Santa Paula crossing over into nearby cities and resulted in the evacuation of 50,000 residents. The fire burned through 96,000 acres and 150 structures, including a large mental health hospital. Ventura County is coming together to provide support for those residents that were left without a home and supplies. With 5% containment, Governor Jerry Brown declared this a state of emergency. TEKsystems in Thousand Oaks, CA is collecting donations, and will be making trips to the evacuation centers to help those who lost their homes. We will be using this money to purchase water, food, clothing, diapers and anything else that is needed, and would be happy to take donations.We will stop taking donations on Friday 12/7/2017 at 3:00(PST).
