Would you like to see more diverse groups at awards events? Our campaign offers you just that opportunity!
Result CIC is so happy to be shortlisted for the new ‘This is Manchester’ awards celebrating our vibrant city’s diverse achievements that we want to share. We are a finalist for the award to an ‘Organisation making a difference to the community’, highlighting our project with people living with Sickle Cell…amongst our other work.
Result CIC is a social enterprise which supports people who are excluded to become confident and use their potential. We have our own experience of being marginalised including deafness, disability, being LGBTQ and an immigrant to the UK. We use this as the basis of our work coaching and providing development training. People we work have transformed themselves and their lives positively. Our clients range from individuals and specialist charities such as Manchester Deaf Centre, RECLAIM project and George House Trust, to disabled staff at larger organisations such as BBC North and the University of Manchester.
At Result CIC we believe in recognising and celebrating success. So we plan to use the ‘This is Manchester’ award event on Nov 8th 2018 to highlight the achievements of 8 people we have worked with, giving them an opportunity to meet a large group of senior local leaders and build contacts for themselves for the future. We will invite individuals from marginalised backgrounds who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend an event of this type. And this is where you come in.
We are crowdfunding to pay for what we expect to be the most diverse and lively table of the evening! We need to raise this asap!
Tickets to the event are expensive for a small, not-for-profit organisation like ours. A table for 10 costs £2,500. Result CIC would prefer to use our money to support people who need us but, with your help, we can offer a real opportunity to celebrate some of those to whom we have already made a difference
By donating to our campaign, you will support 8 remarkable individuals to:
· feel valued and important to their community.
· celebrate the progress they have made in their lives.
· make connections with a wide range of senior local influencers.
· be visible as positive diverse role models, leading the way for others and showing what is possible.
As a social enterprise we plough any funding or surplus into providing more coaching to people who are not in a position to pay for this themselves. We call this our Inclusion Fund. Any donations received above our target will be added to this fund.

We welcome all support. If you choose to give your name, we will thank you on this web platform and on social media. We will also report on the event on our website so you can see how the people you support got on.
If you or your organisation is able to make a larger donation we can offer:
For £200:
· a free individual coaching session with a Result CIC Director
· to feature your organisation in our blog about the awards event which will also be highlighted in our monthly newsletter to several hundred supporters and clients.
For £500:
· A keynote speech from Result CIC Director.
· Dedicated blog engaging with you/your organisation about why you chose to contribute and about your social responsibility agenda.
