I wanted to start a prayer chain for Damion because he has shown me compassion. Over the past 12 hours our community and city have reached out to one another and shared their stories of Damion and/or wanted to give their support. It is so amazing how our city is so diverse but we can all come together and show this kid some love. I truly love you All. I have tried to reach out to the news tv/paper because this is so important. Love and support are so very important.
With this Go Fund Me, from all of us, I hope to help him reach his dream of not only getting a car but also insurance, welding school, books and supplies.

This is Damian. I wrote about him awhile back.This kid blows me away. Everytime he sees my van and knows my mom is with me he runs in and finds us a scooter and brings it to us. If you have met my mom you know she is chair bound and I have to help her in and out of the vehicle. And Damian always ask if I need help. So the day I took this picture, which was yesterday, I asked him what he is doing now since he graduated high school. He goes on to tell me that he is working to save money for transportation so he can enroll in the welding program at the technical school.
It just means so much that he is working in 100* weather to try and make whatever money he can to better his life and he still manages to always have a smile on his face and shows compassion. That is even hard for me sometimes.
I just want to start a love prayer for him.
He is so humble and kind.
If you see him at the Blanchard Walmart make sure you say hello.
