THIS GIRL CHRONICLES

Gkai is a black girl who LEADS! She is a 10th grade student with a 4.4 GPA who believes that she can accomplish all she dedicates her mind, heart and time to. She is humble and committed to serving her community and has been preparing to take her place on the world stage since she was a young child. Her academic excellence and leadership have led her to be selected to participate in three once in a lifetime events this summer.

She is preparing to travel abroad in July 2017 to Italy, Germany and Switzerland. In addition, she was recently selected to participate in a summer program through The National Student Leadership Conference, where she can spend 8 days at Yale University or Georgetown University as a future leader. Her most certainly coveted accolade came last week when she was selected to participate in Envision's 10 day Intensive Law & Trail Program in collaboration with.... Stanford University!

These opportunities are true blessings and once in a lifetime experiences. She is definitely apart of our talented tenth, but her humility and compassion for others are her most precious qualities. She is seeking assistance, asking for others to invest in her possibility! She is destined to make an indeniable mark on the world!
