Thirth Productions Startup Campaign

Donation protected
It's always been a dream of mine to make a decent living by producing community events that inspire, entertain, and benefit East Nashville and the greater Nashville community.

My Story
The Thirth of July Block Party (est. 2001) was my first jump into large-scale communitiy events and has grown every year. As a result of the Thirth, I've been able to give back more than $10,000 to the community. I was a major player in the first East Side Hootenanny, and have since branched out to throw The Yesterbeer Festival , which will eventually help support local veterans programs throughout the region. I am continuing to conceive, plan, and implement several other community events per year.

Historically, I have thrown these events while working for various nonprofits and businesses along the way, but I think I can give more back if I could focus on the events themselves. Your support will allow me to focus on providing fun, high-quality community events that will directly give back to those nonprofits that mean so much to Nashville.

What you can do to help
Your support will help me out with start-up costs like business licenses, attorneys, accountants, graphic designers, web designers, etc., and will also help me provide an initial base for my next event (stay tuned!). It also provides a little breathing room for those lean times (hello, Winter!) when community events don't necessarily happen, and steady income is scarce. Some of your support will help me pay some bills and get caught up with life.

Why your support matters
Thousands of great memories have been created at the Thirth, The Yesterbeer Festival, The East Side Hootenanny, at countless smaller seasonal events in my home, and at events associated with the various nonprofits for which I've worked. I'd like the opportunity to continue doing this, while actually making a living.

I have had the privilege to meet so many great folks over the course of my 19+ years in Nashville, so I'm making my pitch to my friends, business people I've worked with, close buddies, and anyone who's had a great experience with these events to help me achieve my dream of becoming an events entrepreneur.

My dream job has long been to be a philanthropist. Unfortunately, I don't have the family money or the billion-dollar idea to jump into philanthropy, as such, but I do have the opportunity to make a difference in our community one event at a time.

Thank you for your consideration!
Your support means the world to me, and I look forward to seeing you at the next event. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have, or if you'd like to consider a bigger sponsorship opportunity for the Thirth or Yesterbeer.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for considering a gift to the campaign during this holiday season.
