The Vine exists to connect the youth of Colorado Springs to Christ's love by providing a safe and fun environment for discipleship and building community through partnering with the Church.
We love the youth of this city and we believe they need a place that is specificially for them. A place where they can connect with other youth and positive, caring adults who will love and encourage them.
This April 21st we will be celebrating our 4th birthday. We have been running programs including Friday Fun Nights, Monday Hangouts, Bible studies and more for those four years. During this time we have been able to either borrow or rent space for our programs; however, as we are growing and wanting to add more programs, we are now in need of our own space. The goal is to have a place Monday through Saturday where the youth of our city can have a safe place. We want to make tutors and skills classes available, amongst other things, but we need our own building so that we have the space needed each day.
We are looking to rent a 2500sq.ft. building near Academy between Austin Bluffs and Galley. The goal of this campaign is to raise $45000 in 45 days for our 4th birthday! This $45000 would enable us to secure the rent needed for two years, during which time we hope to increase our monthly support in order to sustain the lease beyond that two year period.
We believe that God has given us a place in the lives of the youth of this city, but we can't do it without the help of so many others, including you. Investing in this building is, in many ways, investing in the discipleship of teenagers throughout our city. We hope that you'll consider celebrating our birthday with us by joining in this campaign!
