Theresa Wilson Jenks Education Fund

Hi, my name is Michelle Jenks and I would have proudly called Theresa Marie Wilson my daughter-in-law.   However, a little over a year ago Theresa was diagnosed with diffuse systemic scleroderma - an autoimmune, connective tissue disease.  Theresa's scleroderma was characterized by thickening of the skin, severe muscle and joint pain, and it progressed rapidly to her heart and gastrointestinal tract.    There is no cure.  

After countless procedures, surgeries, physical therapy sessions,  TPN, feeding tubes, and a very long list of medicines, Theresa's heart stopped suddenly on Wednesday, October 28th.    She tried her hardest to fight this horrible disease, and be there for her two  precious daughters, Bella and Cadence.  

Theresa wanted more than anything for her two girls to feel secure, happy, healthy and well-educated.  Each night she would say to them "I love you to the stars and moon".

This fund has been established to raise money for Bella and Cadence's education needs.  Theresa studied long and hard to become a nurse, and was an excellent nurse.   She had worked full-time at a nursing and rehabilitatiion center, and had no life insurance to protect her children.

My son, Michael, Theresa's mother and father, and I will be so thankful for your donation.   He is  29 years old and will be raising a 15 month old and a 3 year without the mother of his children, the love of his life.  She was his world... high school sweethearts and engaged to be married.
