We build playgrounds around the world for children in need of a space to play. We bring play and laughter to underprivileged children in developing countries and refugee camps.

We have just finished our playground project for South Sudanese refugees, and now we are in India teamed up with 2 other organizations to build 50 playgrounds in 1 year. These playgrounds are being built in low-income public schools and orphanges all across the country.
This is the biggest project of its kind, and basically one playground per week!
We are estimating the cost of each playground to be around $2,500 and The Power of Play is aiming to contribute $500 per playground. $500x50 = $25,000
Our mission is simple – Let kids be kids. We strive to create a safe, loving and fun environment that allows children to do what they do best – Play! Play has a vital role in the development of a child. Taking this understanding along with the fact that every child has a right to play, we focus on children who may have had this basic right taken from them, and we strive to bring joy and happiness back into their lives. By working together with communities to build playgrounds, we provide a space for teamwork, learning and of course, play, leaving those involved feeling empowered. The playgrounds are built using recycled materials to keep the costs minimal. We will focus on impoverished areas and refugee camps, and 100% of the donations received go towards building the playgrounds. We see the importance in all of this, as children are the future of our planet, and raising a generation that has known love instead of suffering is of utmost importance. The power of play should never be underestimated, and this is an ongoing mission – for when it comes to the life of a child, there is never such thing as too much play.
