Hello my name is Trenton Nelms and I'm the son of Monica and Ernie Nelms. I currently live in a stressful state of mind due to living conditions. Roughly a year ago my mother was diagnosed with Epilepsy and she lost the privlage of driving, as a result of being unable to drive she had to lose her job, now my entire family looks up to my father since he is our only source of income in our household. Now before my brother Trevor and I start looking like a bunch of bumps on a log I have to say we have jobs, but our parents refuse to take our money that we work for, and I respect that.
It wasn't long ago that my mother filed for disability but unfortuantley was denied, she then called an attorney to fight her case, yet again bad luck strikes seeing that we have to wait another 4-6 months before he can do anything about my mothers case, but with piles of bills shrouding them, I don't know if we are going to be able to afford to live in a house in 4 to 6 months.
On top of it all, we recieved news that my mother is going to be needing surgery, Result: More medical bills, Problem: No money to pay them.
We are not the type of people to go on and ask other people for their hard earned money, because we understand what it's like to sturggle, I'm only 16 and I understand what it means to work hard for what you want, and I want my parents to stop stressing about if we are going to be able to have food next week. We just need a little help to get back on our feet.
