Thanks to OmniTRAX, Centurion Midstream Group, -Centurion Brownsville Terminals,LLC. matched the $1,000 donation of OmniTRAX. Our total amount raised so far is $7,168!! We are very close to meeting our funding goals.

The Solar Car Challenge was established in 1993 to help motivate students in science and engineering, and to increase alternative energy awareness. The Challenge teaches high school students around the world how to build roadworthy solar cars*.
Our nation requires highly qualified people with STEM skills and it begins in K-12. This competition is the application of real-world engineering skills and knowledge from our engineering course such as Introduction to Engineering Design (IED), Electronics and Advanced Electronics taught at our school.
We have formed an after school club to design, build, test and compete in the Solar Car Challenge Cross-Country Competition. Our objective is to raise $10,000 to fund the Cross-Country Competition from July 13-23, 2016 to pay for hotels, food and gas along the route from Fort Worth, TX to Mendota Heights, MN for a total of 900 miles of solar car driving! **
We will be very greatful for any donation you can help us with. This will mean so much to my students who are looking forward to building and competing in a challenging competition and to prepare them for their future endeavors.
