Greetings reader,
I am making a short film called "The Diamond Den" it's part of a one continous shot film challenge .
We will be filming August 5th and 6th. On the 5th we will be be rehearsing the chereography, actions and dialouge. Then on the 6th we will put our practice to use and film it.
What's that mean??
It means that the whole film will be made with one long continous shot with no cuts.
I love oners and consider myself a Spielbergian, so I am looking forward to making one for this competition. The judges of the competition "want to be wowed", but in order to do that I will need some help with some money.
Synopsis:
Some soft new age diamond skinned vampires steal a ritualistic hunt from a high born youngling. The youngling's parents will break a peace treaty between the two different species of vampires in order to get the prey back to the child by force if necessary.
Genre: Horror/Action
Cast:
Isabella Cottrell
We have worked with Isabella on a few films, Including Doll House , Jingle and a couple other short films.
She is an amazing actress and she will be playing "Eva" the High Born youngling.
Elle Doucette
We have worked with Elle a lot, she was the lead role in Doll House , Jingle , Those We Leave Behind and a few other short films. She is an amazing actress and will be playing "Thena"
Christie Devine
This will be our first time working with Christie, she comes highly recomended and we look forward to working with her. She will be playing "Thyria"
William DeCoff
We are very excited to finally work with William, he has done a lot of films, and will be a great addition to this film. He will be playing "Orfio"
Lara Fury
This will be our third time working with Lara and we coulnd't be more excited. She will put her talents to good use as she plays "Orphelia" the queen of the diamond skins.
What's the money for?
Well the film involves vampires, with that being said, we need some kick ass contact lenses, makeup, costumes and some good ol vampire teeth. There is a good amount of action and we need to make it as realistic as possible so some blood squibs would be a nice addition.
We have all the equipment we need, including camera, lights, fly cam and audio equipment.
This is no small undertaking and will be extremely difficult to pull off, but we will do it and we will wow all the viewers.
