The Conway 100km Challenge

This is a shout out to anyone that either knows Tony, or have heard his story, and would like to do something good for him and his family…
I’m Scott and went to school with Mr Conway. A few months ago I got chatting with a couple of old mates and we decided we wanted to something to recognise his struggle with ALS. We want him to know we care and in the process raise awareness and of course some money! That’s when we came up with The Conway 100km Challenge .
This is the ultimate endurance walk. 24 hour continuous challenge from London to Brighton (100km/62 miles) on the 23rd-24th May 2015. This is no walk in the park (see what I did there!) but we wanted a stern test to make it a real challenge, whilst at the same time encourage as many people as possible to take part.
Tony first learned he had the disease back in 2011 and his positivity and fighting spirt has been an inspiration to us all ever since. He is devoted to his wife Amanda and two gorgeous girls, Cora and Louise. Although ALS is ever-present and progressing, he won’t let it beat him.
Awareness of ALS has gone through the roof recently with the Ice Bucket Challenge and as a result official charities have benefited massively. What we want to do here though is raise money directly for Tony and his family. Any donation will go a long way and is greatly appreciated.
