We first saw this abandoned and derelict abbey whilst walking the Camino de Santiago in 2010.
Situated directly on the Camino near Larrasoaña, our plan is to restore the buildings, form a foundation to protect the church and create a museum to display information about it's history and that of the area in which nestles.
All donations no matter how big or small go toward buying the materials and to pay for the services needed to save this magnificent property.
So many historical buildings on the Camino have been allowed to go to ruin - our hope is that by saving this one we'll be able to create a not for profit ‘home from home’ for fellow pilgrims travelling on the Camino de Santiago.
