Florida Young Naturists 2019 Fundraiser
The Florida Young Naturists (FYN) organization was created on Feb. 14, 2009. This February, we mark 10 years as an organization! www.theFYN.com
Last year (2018) FYN held our 10th Annual Naked Spring Bash and our 10th Annual Naked End of Summer Bashes, held each April and August since 2009. We also held our 2nd Annual Naked Fall Gathering and our 8th Annual NakedWinter Gathering.
Our goal is to raise $2019 towards 2019 expenses. These funds will be used:
1. To greatly improve the organization and quality of the membership process and experience:
This will mean quick turnaround time for member card mail outs and new, better than ever durable plastic cards, personalized for each individual member. We would like to offer this while still keeping our member dues low and affordable as always. Our dues currently increase by only $1 each year. 2019 Membership is only $19. FYN would like to purchase the Evolis Badgy 100 Plastic ID Card Printer in January to make this possible, along with 500 blank plastic member cards and several color ink spools. (Estimated cost: $700) UPDATE: The card printer was purchased and the new cards started began mail out mid-January. Thank you for helping us cover the cost to make this possible!
2. To create FYN branded merchandise for promotional giveaways & fundraising:
FYN has secured a table aboard the Bare Necessities Big Nude Boat, Jan. 25 - Feb 1, 2019. We need to purchase a table banner, literature about our organization and giveaway merchandise (such as temporary tattoos or stickers) to promote FYN to the over 3,000 people who will be on board. (Estimated cost: $500)
Any leftover promotional materials will be available for donation / giveaway at the 11th Annual FYN Naked Spring Bash, being held April 11-15, 2019. Those who donate here will receive a special gift that can be picked up at the Spring Bash or mailed out to those who cannot attend. If there are extra funds we will purchase towels, sarongs and other FYN branded items which will be available to event attendees by donation. UPDATE: The promotion aboard the Bare Necessities Big Nude Boat was a success and we met many great people. We had a solid crew of young adults and many older people were very supportive and picked up a card or magnet to tell their grand kids about FYN!
3. Miscellaneous event costs:
Examples of items we need: new signage and banners for our events, new canopies and tents, lighting, extension cords, games and activities for the Kid's Area, body paints, fuel for our amazing fire performers. The list goes on...
