Zachary Scott Spoolstra (Zach) was 24 at the time of his death. He lived in Nampa, ID. Jesus received him into his welcoming arms on Sunday, May 6th after a fatal accident caused by a drunk driver early that morning at 3:35.

Zach was born on March 10, 1994 in Boise, ID to Susie and Rick. As a baby he was always known as ‘burrito baby’ and nicknamed “Toad.” To those close to him, we can remember his love for pickles and the endless desire to watch “Dragon Tales.” He attended Parma grade school, middle school, and graduated from Parma High School in 2012. Always having a smile on his face, he never hesitated to warm the hearts of everyone who met him. This kind-heartedness led him to work as a home health care provider. He had a love for body building and followed in his parents’ passion for fitness. He was very proud and worked hard to obtain his impressive stature. Although growing up he was always and handful and often teased and taunted his younger siblings, he will always be remembered for his heart of compassion and the deep love he had for his mom and family. In the summer of 2017 Zach was baptized and re-dedicated his life to the Lord. Having the comfort that his life was open to the Lord gives us all peace in knowing that Zach will be waiting at the gates to great us when Jesus calls us home.

He is survived by his loving mother, Susan Glenn-Spoolstra Kelley, and his father Rick Spoolstra. His siblings Michaela, Javen, and Gabe Spoolstra as well as his maternal grandparents Denver and JoAnne Glenn and paternal grandmothers Cindee Tinnen and Pam Spoolstra. There are many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends who love him and will also miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Ron Spoolstra and his mother’s three brothers Chris, Billy, and Don Glenn.
