The Tracy Watkins Memorial Fund

Two weeks ago my Wife Tracy Watkins went in for a checkup because of pain near her stomach. We were all devastated to learn that Tracy has Stage 4 Cancer that spread to 50% of her liver. There are still many unknowns but we know that Tracy is facing chemotherapy as well as possible Hospice. Above all else, we are certain of our faith and God’s healing hand. 


Tracy is 51 years old, a Clemson University Engineering graduate 89’ and a member of Forest Hills Church. She is head designer at Cosmic Cookie Bakery  formerly Kai’s Kookies and More. Which is a family run full small business that we operate together.


She is the primary caregiver of Kai, our 21 year old daughter who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth and who is our Miracle child. And she is the Mother of Aiden our 15 year old Son who is a IB student and rising Junior at Myers Park High School.


Tracy is also an Advocate of Children with special needs in the Charlotte, NC region. And has served on regional Boards and on various committees such as Easterseals/UCP and Misty Meadows Mighty Riders to advance our Daughters chances in life.


She has also served on our neighborhood board and local school committees. My Wife has the deepest desire to be in her Children’s lives and to continue serving our community. They will shortly begin procedures to preserve her life. It is our hope to help Tracy recover fully and to lessen the financial burden that this sudden illness causes our family.
