The Underground Gym needs a new space!

Due to a burst water pipe, a collapsing roof, and a rat problem, Peter Panetta has decided that the Underground Gym space on Simpson St. space is no longer safe for the youth. For now, Peter will continue to do the amazing work he's doing by utilizing the U.G.G. bus.
The Underground Gym offers free access to equipment and mentoring in a safe environment that is open to children & youth who lack the cultural, social or economic resources required to access existing facilities.
Peter and the youth need our support to make sure they can continue to offer safe and positive spaces for the youth! Whether it be through trips with the bus, a new space rental, or the building of a dream space, they need the community to rally together and offer some funds to say- we see the amazing work you do and we want to make sure you can continue to do it!
Ideally, Peter would love to raze the building and construct a new one at the current location. Another option is purchasing a location he’s found, which is not ideal, but would suffice, with a price tag of about $85,000.
