The Twisted Suite!!!! (Houston, TX)

My passion for everything wavy, curly, coily and kinky started in 2005 when I decided to wear my natural hair texture. I quickly found that there was absolutely NOWHERE I could go for professional help with styling, maintaining or learning how to care for my hair myself, what to use on it or how to grow it. Six years later I became a licensed hair stylist for the sole purpose of being the solution to a problem I soon realized many people besides myself were having. Fast forward to 2018, things are vastly different, everywhere you turn there are products promising you the most amazing curls, killer waves or the springiest coils. There are THOUSANDS of You Tube gurus with simple (and not so simple) remedies and routines for self styling and home hair care. It's quite overwhelming, even for a professional.

The Twisted Suite  is being developed with the goal of providing customized service and of making complete curl
education accessible for the vast curl audience. The centerpiece and main focus will be a retail boutique that showcases a carefully curated collection of premium curl care products, supplies and accessories that addresses everything  needed for a beautiful bountiful head of hair, regardless of the texture. A texture expert will be on hand to conduct Twisted Talks (consultations), make personalized product recommendations and help guests try out suggested products. There will also be knowledgeable and experienced  stylists on hand  for guests wanting expert in-salon curl care that is focused on wellness and personal style.

The Twisted Suite is currently in its developmental stage, which consists of launching with a scaled down version of my larger vision. This includes leasing a small salon space to retail product and service guests, purchasing product inventory, purchasing and creating grass roots and online marketing materials to create awareness, developing  retail and salon service systems and policies to ensure an A-1 guest service experience.

This is my baby y'all, that is why I am using my personal funds to jump
start  this labor of love and I also welcome additional support to help
reach my goal of an additional 3000.00 to secure salon space and purchase my first
round of inventory by December 1, 2018 . The sales and cash flow info gathered during this developmental phase will be included in my business plan, so those who choose to donate now and invest later in the
planned 2019 expansion are free to email me. No contribution is too
