THE THANK YOU BOAT!!!
Donation protected
For many years now I share my life with the woman I love.
I struggled through many crisis of life and she always gave me the love and help I needed to stay on course.
It is very much time to give back for me.
We live surrounded by Big Lakes and we love to spend time at the lakes.
So I decided I will invest a lot of time and work in fixing an old boat to give her the opportunity to step aside from her Job where she helps A LOT of people to stay on course in their lives. And give back for many years!
This is an approximately 4 months project.
I did find the perfect boat for sale. It is a 1988 Cruiser. It has a maintained engine and a hull in good shape but needs to be fixed up.
If this boat is sold by the time I have the funding I will find an equivalent.
I am not willing to compromise but rebuilt a boat so it looks and fells new and represents the value of thankfulness I return with it.
I will run a bi weekly updated blog of how the work commences as soon as the renovations start.
The project/renovation will start at the day that I collected $3.800 as I can bring it to a garage where I will immediately start to work as I get the funds for additional materials.
And this is what I am asking help for:
To get the opportunity to show a Thank You with a lot of help! Yes! and with a lot of work and love that I will put into this boat and give something valuable and beautiful which will last for many years in to the future.
Funding the Boat: $3500
Replace the and stringers, foam and decking $900
(re)build the seats and bedding (upholstery + foam) $1200
New fuel tank $600
Make a soft boat enclosure $250
Sand and repaint the hull $300
------------
$ 6.750 Canadian Dollars in total
I will post all and every receipt of payments to maintain 100% transparency where the money goes.
