Wir – das Rhizomatic Circus Collective – möchten uns den Traum erfüllen auf Zirkustournee in Europa zu gehen, um unsere multimediale, zeitgenössische Zirkusshow einem breiteren Publikum zu präsentieren. Obwohl wir über viel ideelles und künstlerisches Kapitel verfügen, fehlt uns dazu nötige Kleingeld. Wir hoffen, dass wir mit eurer finanziellen Unterstützung einen Zirkuswagen kaufen können, in dem all unsere sieben (Zirkus-)Sachen passen…

Wir, das Rhizomatic Circus Collective sind ein im Wiener Untergrund wucherndes Netzwerk, in dem sich verschiedene Kunstformen miteinander verbinden. Zeitgenössischer Tanz, Akrobatik, Schauspiel, Luftartistik, interaktive Projektionskunst, Kostümdesign und Musik werden als vielfältige Wissensstränge verstanden, die sich an gemeinsamen Knotenpunkten zu bizarren, gesamtkünstlerischen Gebilden verflechten.

The Rhizomatic Circus Collective on the road - we kindly ask for your financial support <3!
Why?
We, the Rhizomatic Circus Collective, would love to go on circus tours to different places in Europe in order make our contemporary multimedia circus show accessible to a larger audience. However, despite our idealistic and artistic capital, we are quite limited financially. Thus, for the transportation of all the fun circus stuff, as well as our transportable stage, we desperately need a caravan to make our dream come true.
Who we are?
The Rhizomatic Circus is a contemporary circus collective in Austria that produces large-scale, self-organized multimedia shows. We are around 30 different artists from diverse backgrounds including classical circus arts, contemporary dance, performing arts and visual arts.

What are the donations for in detail?
Your generous donation will support us to to purchase a second hand caravan. Although we always aim at low-cost options, it will probably cost considerably more than 1200€ (repairing costs, adhesive label, refurbishment etc.). Therefore, any additional money that we raise will be invested into the vehicle as well. 300€ of the donations we would like to use in order to cover our travel expenses (food & gas) for our first small tour.
What can we offer for your donation?
First of all, we would like to express our deep GRATITUDE for your support - with every euro you help this idealistic art project grow.
If you would like to donate 50€ or more, we can also offer you a place on the guest list for our next show in 2019. For this option, please write us an email ([email redacted]) with your name and your preferred date, thank you!
