The perfect send off for lovely Sid

We are raising money in order to give Sid the send off and headstone he truely deserves.
Sid battled with prostate cancer for 5 years, he continued to work, provide for his ever growing family, love, have fun and laugh. Sadly over these years these things began to dwindle.
His is health deteriorated and he was hospitalised for a few weeks in the summer of this year, where they diagnosed him with a viscious pancreatic tumour.
He fought his way to the very end, anyone who knew Sid will know he would fight to the end for his family and his friends and being nursed by his wife pat and children at home he showed just how true to the word this was, still laughing and asking how other people were.
We owe this kind hearted soul a send off like no other. Raising the money is becoming increasingly difficult as we cannot see him without all that he deserves and wondered if there was anything anyone could do to help.
This isnt a poverty fund raiser, more a fund raiser to ensure he gets everything and more.
He was a ‘top bloke’, loved by all and we want to have a day that makes him as proud of us as we all were of him for the sheer determination and strength he showed us in battling this viscous disease.
Any monies raised that aren’t used towards funeral/headstone will be donated to Pancreatic cancer.org.
Pancreatic cancer is mostly diagnosed too late, giving patients a short time to live, the short time they have is quickly restricted, extreme pain, unable to eat, sickness, jaundice, fatigue this is just a few of the symptoms. It is one of the least funded diseases and this needs to change. The survival rates of all other cancers have increased by stats up to 80% over the last 40 years. The survival rate of pancreatic cancer is still just 3%. This needs to change. There will be various fund raisers to raise anything we can for pancreatic cancer research, as it’s important patient get the treatment they need in a time frame that will result in it been effective.
