The Mississauga Humane Society
Right now the Mississauga Humane Society has been forced to take in less animals due to lack of funds. In order to maintain and care for the animals, which is approximately 500 new dogs and cats each year, they desperately need help! It costs the volunteer-run organization an average of $15,000 each month to cover veterinary costs. I had to make my fundraising goal realistic, as I don't expect to raise $15,000 (although that would be incredible), so any amount that you can donate over the next 2 months will literally help save lives.
If you are unable to donate at this time no problem, you can still help by spreading the word or donating the following items that are currently on their list of needs:
•Canadian Tire Money
•Dog Supplies including: Strong Leashes (6” long),
Dog food (dry and canned food), Dog treats & Cookies, Crates,
•Cat Supplies including: Cat Food (dry and canned), Cat Litter, Carriers, Litter Boxes
Please let me know if you have any of these items and I will arrange a pick up or you can drop them off to either of these 4 locations:
•Pet Valu, 905-306-0909 Mavis/Dundas (Home Depot Plaza)
•Pet Valu 905 273 9992 Dundas/Dixie (Walmart Plaza)
•Global Pet Foods 905-501-0411 Burnhamthorpe W/Creditview
•Dundas East Animal Hospital 905-803-8400, 966 Dundas St E (Tomken)
Thank you in advance for taking the time to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends!
*Donation receipts will be provided by MHS in Feb. 2017, for donations $20 and over.
God Bless and Happy Holidays!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Jackey Splitt, a volunteer at MHS for over 7 years. Her strong love of animals and passion for saving them is inspiring.
We are exactly one month away until I present MHS with the money WE have raised (Dec. 23). It is imperative to keep spreading the word about this worthy cause.
Feel free to share this video with friends, family and colleagues because MHS needs all the support they can get.
The volunteers dedicate so much time and effort to help these animals and now, they need our help. We are half way there, so please, let's keep the momentum going and spread the word!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
