The Maggie Varcoe Fund

On the 30th of August, in the late afternoon, Margaret Varcoe passed away at the age of 27, due to head injuries that she sustained during the grand final game last Sunday.

Maggie was much loved by all both on and off the field and was a true footballer. She was always happy to help anyone in need, her smile and kind nature will be truly missed by her family, friends and the football community.

Due to the tragic circumstances, we're hoping that this fundraiser can help the Varcoe family pay for Maggie's funeral costs, as well as other expenses. 

This has touched the hearts of everyone in the football community.
