The Lynn Foster Support Fund

In 2011, my mother-in-law Lynn required surgery to remove tumours that had grown on her brain.  Following brain surgery, Lynn lost her mobility and independence.  Lynn spent many months in the hospital for recovery and radiation to shrink the tumours on her brain.  Following treatment, Lynn's husband Andrew brought her home and the family took care of her for as best they could for approximately two years.  Then in 2013, the family decided they could not provide Lynn the care she needed and the decision was made to move her to a care home.  Andrew, Lynn's husband, moved into the care home as well, and split his time between taking care of Lynn at the care home, and working from home.  To assist Lynn with the transition, Andrew hired a full-time care aid, Perfecta.  Perfecta (Fe), is now a part of the family, and a companion for Lynn.

Lynn's husband Andrew became very ill in February 2019 and required hospitalization.  His medical team went from treatment to comfort in a very short time, and on March 8, 2019, Andrew passed away.

Andrew was the sole provider for the family, and with him being gone, Lynn's finances will not cover the cost of her care.  Any monies raised through this campaign will go to the various treatments, supplies and costs associated with her care.
