Each year, The Bancroft House sponsors a local event for high school National Junior Honor Society members to help raise awareness of homelessness in the North Country. "The Longest Night" happens in December, consisting of students sleeping outdoors becoming "temporarily homeless" for one night. They eat and sleep out-of-doors from 6pm-6am. This year, the event will be taking place on December 21st. As a member of NJHS, I am proud to be one of five students participating in this event. I am asking for pledges to support our commitment to the event. Every dollar you donate helps provide food and shelter to a homeless family, or individual, in the North Country.
