On Christmas eve, Claudia's dad, Erguin Galindo, was hospitalized and was diagnosed for Cirrhosis.
Mr. Galindo also has a blood clot in his right leg, a failing kidney, and it is too late to receive a liver transplant.
The doctor told the family that he has 5 months to live, the most.
Claudia (right) and her fiancee John had their wedding set in April.
But after meeting with the doctor, her father turned to Claudia and John and said, "I wish to see my daughter get married before I die."
It broke my heart when Claudia told me, "I need to prepare for my wedding and prepare myself to have the last dance with him."
She is faced with being married to the love of her life, but also losing her one and only father.
He will no longer be there to support the family, to help his daughter move into her new home, to see his first grandchild, and to see rest of his children grow into adults.
But Claudia is keeping a strong face and is focused on making this wedding happen in less than two weeks.
I am raising money for Claudia, her mom, her younger brother, and sister who will have their Last Dance with their father on Claudia's wedding day, February 4th.
*It will fund them for any medical bills, possible funeral preparations, and any other expenses during and after the wedding.
