The Rebirth of a Sunflower (1/22/17)
Sunflowers are seen as a symbol of warmth, happiness and adoration. In their lifetime they stand tall following the sun and keeping steadfast to its movements and energy.
Kate and Rodney saw the similarities between this flower and their daughter; often comparing the two.
Throughout Kennedy's brief illness her parents held strong to the belief that Kennedy would not follow the direction of God's light until He had prepared her a wonderful sunflower field in which to bloom.
On Thursday January 19, 2017 this beautiful meadow was completed with the addition of its final flower - Kennedy.
Her parents want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support and affection during this trying time. In order to keep her memory alive they ask that you think of her whenever you have the pleasure of seeing a sunflower in its best light - swaying gracefully, basking in the glow of God's love.

Rodney and Kate's world wide love story was topped on the day their daughter was born.  Kennedy Sutton Ross was born June 7, 2014.  This beautiful, energetic 2 year old just tried her hand at skating, loves to visit the beach, eat mac and cheese and dance and sing.  Unfortunately now after the diagnosis of life threatening brain tumor she finds herself no longer dreaming of sun and sand but fighting for her life.  This is a tough time for her and her parents.  They need your immediate prayers and financial help to assist with the heavy burden of her detailed medical needs.
