We are 'The Inner Six'
We are a group of actors that graduated from Giles Foreman Centre for Acting. Over the past six months we have been working together in order to bring alive the UK Première of the incredible play, 'DEMONS' by Lars Norén, which has been much performed abroad and so deserves to be known to British audiences in this 2014 translation by Marita Gochman.
Our mission: To present high-quality, affordable theatre.
Our current project: To produce the UK Première of 'Demons' by Lars Norén.
DEMONS by Lars Norén is a dark, bitterly-amusing take on human relationships and their ability to descend into toxicity and madness. Set in a Stockholm apartment in 1982, on the eve of a funeral, two couples - Frank and Katarina; Jenna and Tomas - share an evening together. Fuelled by alcohol, grief and repressed lust, the result is an absurdly humorous, sometimes shocking series of events.
The £5400 target that we need to reach by 17th of March 2019 will help us cover the expenses for the play rights, theatre hire, rehersal space, building the set (objects and furniture to build the interior of a cozy apartment with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom)
Everything we reach over the target we will invest in props, costumes and musical rights.
This will also support financing future projects and making them accessible to everyone .
Our main goal is to represent the multicultural identity of the modern world in a way that fully aligns with the playwright’s original intentions and to deliver naturalistic productions that simultaneously thrill and immerse our audience.
The performance dates are from the 19th to the 23rd of March 2019 at the Bridewell Theatre in Central London.
