The Hymel Family Fund

There are not enough words to describe what a wonderful family the Hymel's are. Even if we tried it would probably come out a bit cliche, but we're going to give it a shot. The Hymel's, Ed, Maxi and their daughter Terra, are sincerely the picture of a good old fashioned all-American  family. Very close knit and would rather spend time in their home together than anywhere or with anyone else in the world. Hard-working, generous, and would go above and beyond for anyone. A family filled with an amazing abundance of love and compassion.
Ed was a genuine man of few words, a straight-shooter, that only said what was necessary. He made any sacrifice needed for his family and did whatever it took to help provide for them. Fun-loving and sometimes a bit goofy, Ed always had a smile on his face. His wife of 22 years, Maxi, is one of the kindest souls you could ever meet. A nurse by trade, and a caregiver to all those around her, she is the finest lady and the toughest cowgirl all wrapped in one. She could absolutely make a living being a comedian because wherever she is there is laughter! She makes a positive impact not only in her patient's lives, but in the lives of everyone  she meets. Nothing in the world mattered more to these two than their beautiful and intelligent daughter. Terra is a 16 year old Junior in high school, and just like her Daddy, a genuine soul.

This family is now in need of your compassion, kindness, and love!!!

Very early Saturday morning on February 16th, the weight of this world fell on Ed's shoulders harder than ever before, and sadly and unexpectedly he took his own life.
Each of us know the toll that life can sometimes have upon us. Many battles we each face, some known, and some unknown. Depression is very real and we never know the wars fought in each other's minds.  These circumstances do not change the love that this family has for one another.  Now Maxi and Terra must find a way to go on without the most important man in their lives.  They have many challenges ahead and hard days and years to come.  They will not only have to take things day by day but moment by moment.  No amount of money could take the pain away but the one thing that Ed and Maxi were always most concerned with is Terra's education and funds for  that.  Maxi has many upcoming expenses and she faces these as a widow now.  I just ask that anyone who can give please do so.  There is no one more deserving of help.  I just hope that with the help of loved ones Maxi can be relieved of some of the financial burden that I know will start to weigh on her and be able to continue her and Ed's college fund for Terra.  I know that this wonderful mother and daughter would be so appreciative of any help given. Anything you can contribute to them is a blessing.   And please also keep them in your prayers  Thank you all so much!
