All we want for Christmas is a gift that will keep on giving. And we found one that you can help us give.
We are part of the team of A Peace of Life. Our wish is to send youth impacted by war, violence, genocide and poverty in Africa to peace camp. It's a gift of fun, friendship across borders, and learning on peacebuilding through sports, arts and social enterprise.
It costs approx $200 for one youth to attend. We hope to send at least 10 with your help over the next two weeks of this campaign. As a special thank you for your donation, we will send you a gift* - a Christmas shirt that has been designed and created by Joseph (pictured below with Alex). In 2016, both Alex and Joseph participated as volunteer staff at peace camp, together with youth from Rwanda and DR Congo.

Peace camp is an amazing youth peace training event offered every year by A Peace of Life - a youth led, non profit based in Rwanda that I have helped to launch. The camp focuses on skills development in critical thinking, creativity, peer counselling, and social enterprise, to transform trauma and conflict and promote a healthy, thriving life for all.
In 2017, youth from Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda hope to attend peace camp. Thanks so much for your support.
