The Farm School is a vocational learning and residential community center located in Punta Gorda Town, Toledo District, Southern Belize, Central America.
Our mission is to inspire and empower at-risk Belizean women by cultivating the talents of each individual through vocational training in practical skills, job opportunities, and professional development to increase confidence, knowledge, and expertise.
Our vision is the health and wellness of our land and self-sufficiency of our community by preserving and promoting the traditional ways of sustainable living through small-scale, organic farming.
Our goal is to open our doors to at least 3 Belizean students by September of 2018. We appreciate your support to fund the following facilities and projects in 2018:
• Scholarships for students and stipends for our core team of staff based locally in Belize: $1,000
• Supplies and materials: $2,000
• Eco-construction of new facilities in Belize: $1,000
• Administrative, marketing, and travel expenses: $3,000
