Embracing the Esposito's

Donation protected
Welcome to Ciara’s go fund me page! Ciara was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. It all started in June of 2016, just after her 43rd birthday, when she was unexpectedly diagnosed with colon cancer. She began chemotherapy soon after in an attempt to shrink the tumor in her colon. She has since spent the last 18 months battling this vicious disease through various forms of treatment as the cancer has spread from her colon to her liver and lungs. This December she endured a major car accident that led doctors to discover a lesion in her brain. This was a severe setback in her battle as it spread to yet another part of her body. Sadly, Ciara lost her battle on January 7th, 2018.

Your support, love, thoughts, and prayers have been truly appreciated throughout this journey. This GoFundMe page was created in order to raise money for Ciara’s battle in hope to make this difficult time easier for her family. The donations will go towards medical bills and other expenses that the family has endured throughout this battle and any future expenses it will bring. Should any funds be remaining, they will go to an education fund for the Esposito children.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly to the Esposito family and every donation will go a long way in her struggle with cancer. We ask that you fight with us and put Ciara in your thoughts and prayers!

A little about her…Ciara was 43 years old and had been happily married to her husband Tony for 21 years. She is the mother of 3-- Saverio (19), Vinny (16), and Sophia (4). She had been a strong figure each and every day to her kids. Ciara was loved and well respected by the Penn-Trafford community as well as her co-workers and students whose lives she has touched throughout her many years of teaching. Unfortunately, she was forced by her cancer to resign from the job that she loved.

Ciara, along with her family are some of the most genuine, kind people you could ever meet. Throughout her battle, she was a brilliant role model for her family and everyone around her. In her battle with cancer, she maintained a positive attitude while taking care of her three kids despite the pain she has endured from cancer and its treatment. Please consider donating what you can and sharing her campaign with others in hopes of helping her family in their time of need.
