The Energy sculpture

Marjan Krnjič is a fashion designer who is living and working in London. In the month of January 2018 his brother has been murdered. Because he had to give his goodbye too soon from his brother, he has decided to create a memoir in his brother’s honour in London and he has called his colleague artists to collaborate with him. 

All production expenses and cost of placing the sculpture has been covered by himself. His wish for the sculpture is to be standing forever, therefor he is wishing to find donators to support the project. With the collected funds he’d hold a fund to cover expenses for the location of sculpture, insurance and repairs due to possible vandalism. 
The sculpture was named Energy and it's purpose is for all the people of the world.

About
The sculpture contains four different sized porcelain pigeons which are placed on a stone surface. Two of the largest pigeons are facing towards the sunrise and sunset. They are placed so they face east and west.

The smallest blue pigeon is facing towards north. One of the special features of the sculpture is also the different appearance of the pigeons during night time. The pigeons absorb daylight and radiate it during night and glow in a greenish lantern colour.


A part of the sculpture is also the board, which has engraved ‘’You are Energy’’ surrounded by three crystals which are in David’s star shape: Amethyst, Rose Quartz and Quartz which give to the whole sculpture an additional note of spirituality.

The board itself is made in Slovenia and was taken to Stonehenge on the date of the winter Solstice (22.12.2018) before placing on its final location.


The idea
The idea came to Marjan Krnjić who lives and works in London for a while now. After losing his beloved brother and a dear close personal friend he has decided to gather his colleague artist friends to collaborate on this project and give it special energy for all the people of the world.

Pigeons
The pigeons are hand painted using different techniques in a way so the passing-by person does not see and understand the whole image and meaning. The artists also had in mind the natural aging process of the sculpture. The bottom side of the pigeons have been gilded with 24ka gold, which was done by Janusz Chyrowski, who, among other clients also guilds for the Royal family.


Location
The sculpture is placed nearby the Lea Bridge Library in the ‘’Friendship Park’’, where you can among the old trees disconnect from the bustling city life and have a peaceful thought of everyone we’re carrying in our hearts.

Made in December 2018 and the sculpture has been placed in the Friendship Park in January 2019.
