The DCast started in 2013 and has been talking all things Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars for almost 6 years.
After closing up shop in September we thought the show would be no more, but our founder Andy Herndon couldn't stop talking about his love of Disney and decided to reboot the Podcast.
We have a new set of hosts on the reboot. Along with Andy we have brought our Shawn Williams and Chris Brown who are all Disney lovers who live near Andy in Southern Oregon. For the last 6 years co hosts who have worked with Andy have been all over North America and have called in remotely to co host the show. This has kept costs low as all we needed was a laptop, a usb mic, audio editing software and an internet connection... but that is about to change.
In an effort to make the DCast as professional as possible for the first time we are hoping to purchase studio equipment so all recording can be don in house, on site creating a new fun dynamic for the show. To accomplish this we will need new gear.
The following is the gear we need to purchase to make this dream a reality and take The DCast to the Next Level.
