The Centre’s Kitchen Garden

Donation protected
The Centre for Continuing Education is a community based organisation providing adult education and training services in the North East of Victoria for over 55 years.

One such program run by The Centre is “Getting There”, a program aimed at those who haven’t quite fit into conventional education and that focuses on lifelong learning and skills.

The students of Getting There are currently seeking support so that they can build a kitchen garden at The Centre’s Wangaratta campus.

The garden will be accessible by wheelchairs and feature indigenous art and plants. The fruit and vegetable grown in the garden will also be able to be used by students.

The garden will be of huge benefit to the local community, particularly the students on The Centre and the neighbouring primary school.

Any contribution to this wonderful community project would be hugely appreciated. Alternatively if you or your business wish to donate your time, skills or materials, please contact us via the link.

Thanks,
The Getting There students.
