What? Bob Rubin's never done a stand-up comedy special? What a shame!
Please help him raise the money to film his very first special back on his home turf, San Francisco, at the legendary Doc's Lab in North Beach, Saturday night, April 29. Together we can right this wrong and produce a uniquely funny comedy special that will withstand the test of time, just as Bob has.

WHAT ABOUT BOB?

A larger-than-life, high-energy performer, he attacks the stage with an astonishing surreal sense of humor making everyone in the room feel they are in on a fantastical, private joke.

Bob, or ‘the Rube’, as his loyal fans like to call him, has enjoyed a career that spans four decades. The highlights include brief stints in movies and television, writing for TV, and playing concert halls, colleges and comedy clubs across North America.

The low lights included bouts with mania and bi polar depression over the years, something Bob has had to manage to this very day yet has still made millions of people laugh.

WHAT ABOUT NOW?
The Rube is at the top of his game and ready to accomplish the one thing that somehow eluded him all these years – his own comedy special. Now is the time to document this man’s incomparable style. He needs you to help him achieve this lifelong goal.

WHAT'S NEXT?
It's simple. Let's see Bob Rubin on Netflix! The money raised all goes to filming the show, and some surprises, and the rest goes to post production. State of the art cameras are being used so this show can be formatted for streaming platforms and cable TV stations. Studio B in Berkley, CA is providing a top of the line camera and sound package, along with a crew. And, writer/director Jeff Santo is on board as executive producer and director.
