The Base Team, Skydive for Victorias Promise

On Saturday 22nd June, Sandra and I will be taking part in a 13,000 feet tandem skydive from Hinton Airfield, Northampton to raise money for Victoria's Promise.
Working for www.thebaseyouthcentre.co.uk we have come across several local families who have received invaluable support from the charity.
Having both had 'a skydive' on our bucket list of things to do, we saw the opportunity to tick this one off whilst raising money for a fabulous cause.
For those who don't know about VP:
Victoria’s Promise (VP) is a charitable organisation set up to fulfil the promise of Victoria van der Westhuizen. Victoria passed from cancer aged 29. The organisation specialises in the advanced support of young women through cancer. Victoria’s Promise provide a protective sphere of care through their cancer treatment and beyond, with in depth, high quality supportive services, therapies, education and networks. Victoria’s Promise is dedicated to not only supporting young women through their treatment and beyond, but acting to directly prevent cancer incidences from occurring by leveraging the latest in technology and education.
