Check the project out here! 32086208_1534095380751105_r.jpegOver $7000 has been already been raised so far for the Montreal Children's Hospital's Adolescent Psychiatric Ward through this initiative! But can we make it to $10,000? That’s only $1,358 away!

My name is Simone Aslan, and I am the creator of the Bare Necessities Initiative, aiming to provide kids needing psychiatric care with basic items such as shampoo, soap, socks, underwear, pants, and much more.

I have been featured on CBC's daybreak as well as within the Suburban, and have had many generous donors and overwhelming community support throughout this project. I would specifically like to thank Gildan for their recent contribution to my cause. You guys are the best!

If you want to know more about the who, what, where, and why, visit the official website for this initiative at :

As an project officially backed up by the Children's Hospital, any donation over $25 is eligible for a tax refund. If you are interested, please contact me with your name, number, address, and donation amount. Thank you!
