Med Student Fighting Cancer

Help Amraha beat Cancer
This is the story of a young 20 years old young medical student Amraha Ehtizaz, who wants to be a medical doctor (currently – Year II Med-school student). In March 2015, she was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma - a very rear type of liver cancer, which in her case was a Pediatric tumor in an adult age of 19, so she required a pediatric oncologist. She had a large portion of her liver removed in May 2015.

She started receiving Chemotherapy till Oct 2015 (8 cycles). Her CT scan came normal in Dec 2015. She thought she was cancer free but in July 2016, residue was found in the liver which came through a needle tract. CT scan showed multifocal recurrence of tumor in the liver. Amraha went through a Liver transplant in Aug 2016 followed by 15 cycles of radiation and again chemotherapy. But in a follow-up scan in Feb 2017 –cancer was back in her body in lungs and bones for the THIRD TIME.


Now we are consulting with Boston Children Hospital for a pediatric oncologist (her last hope due to complications and rare nature of tumor), who need an upfront deposit of $600,000 for her treatment.
Amraha is determined to go back to school and be a medical doctor. Please help us save her life.
