We are a small Theatre Company with big dreams. Our first public live show will take place at the end of this month! We are very excited but of course money is always something that tends to get in the way while being in the arts. Any little bit helps for our dreams and journey with Freddy Tree!
Our goal is to educate people and inform them that living with a different ability does not mean that they suffer or should be excluded from anything in everyday life. If more people are aware and have acceptance then only positive reactions can come of it.
This fall we would like to be performing for elementary schools in Toronto to eduate youth on the importance of acceptance and awareness for people with different abiltities. Our show, "The All Abilities Tree," teaches children that everyone should be able to pursue their dreams, no matter how "different" they may seem.
If you would like to make a donation in helping our educational show come to life, we will be forever grateful! And don't forget to come see our show! July 29th at the Red Sandcaslte Theatre at 2pm and 7pm. 922 Queen St. East, Toronto, ON, M4M 2J5.
UPDATE: We recently met our goal of $500 for our show, and went over by $200! Because we are feeling so optimistic, we are now setting a new goal for ourselves! This new goal is to help raise money for our company to ensure that we will be able to spread awareness by performing for elementary schools this coming school year! Gotta aim high!
