For my Gold DofE me and a friend are having our heads shaved in order to raise money to build 2 new classrooms for a school in Malawi called Thantwe.
This school is poverty ridden, they currently have 649 students crammed into 6 classrooms and the students only have the area is so poverty ridden when not at school the children do not eat, and when they are a small cup of rice has to make do.
Only 10% of the nations population gain access to further education have the opportunity to gain access to further education and our goal is to increase the amount of children from Thantwe gaining access to this, so they are able to gain a proper career, escape the poverty cycle and have access to things we take for granted
Any donations will help as big or as little as they can be anything will go a long way into our project in order to improve these children's futures.
